Indian citizens are now more motivated to recycle, restore, and keep their streets clean as more Indian governments take charge of their city's cleaning, including the Indian government's recent move to implement the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' project. Some Indian cities have succeeded in preserving cleanliness and hygiene throughout their districts and towns and made India are proud of their commitment to environmental preservation and sustainability. Swachh Survekshan, a yearly survey performed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA), has highlighted these cities.
