“Vibrate,” “FriendStalker,” and “Twitch” were some of the name suggestions before finalizing “Twitter”, which meant the light tweeting sound made by certain birds, which may be excitement, agitation, or flutter. Surprisingly high number of people have done just that: made an account and abandoned Twitter forever. Approximately 550 million — just under half of Twitter users are reported to have sent their last tweet more than one year ago, which is 43%. Only 126 million users have been actively tweeting.

He is ahead of some of the biggest celebrities in the world. followed by Justin Bieber with 114.2 million and Katy Perry with 108.7 million users, Rihanna, and Cristiano Ronaldo among the top 5 most followed Twitter accounts.
