Beer has been brewed in Poland for over a thousand years, and an ordinary Polish consumes 97.7 litres of beer every year.

The Czech Republic has made the top position of beer consumption per capita for the past 26 years, and it isn't even close, with nearly 80 litres consumed per capita more than any other country. With this track record, it appears doubtful that any country will be able to overthrow the Czech Republic. Annually, Beer consumption is 143.6 litres per person in this country.
