Highlights of the 1st edition of World Immunization and Logistics Summit 2021

The first-ever World Immunization and Logistics Summit 2021 was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 29th and 30th March, 2021. Department of Health, Abu Dhabi launched ‘The Hope Consortium’ for global vaccine distribution. The summit was inaugurated by UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two day summit was divided into first and final day panels. The theme of the first day panel was ‘Demand Planning, Preparedness and Overcoming Challenges in Vaccine Administration’ and the theme of the final day panel was ‘Focus on Asia: Vaccine Production and Distribution across Asia’.

Highlights of the Merchant Digitization Summit 2021

The ‘Merchant Digitization Summit 2021: Towards AtmaNirbhar Bharat with special focus on Himalayan Regions, North East Regions and Aspirational Districts’ was held on 2nd March, 2021. The summit was hosted by UN’s ‘Better Than Cash Alliance’, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Government of India and was organized by Intellecap. The summit aimed to collaborate the leaders from private as well as public sectors for accelerating responsible digitization of merchants. The summit addressed the challenges faced by the merchants while making digital.   

Gist of Maritime India Summit 2021

The Maritime India Summit 2021 was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 3-day summit and exhibition is being organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. It is the flagship initiative of Mansukh Mandaviya, the Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Stakeholders of maritime sector like maritime policy planners, CEOs, investors, leaders in maritime industry and technology providers across the globe will be attending the summit cum exhibition. As per the announcements made by PM Modi, centre aims to operationalize 23 waterways by 2030.
