He represented South Africa in 228 ODIs and dominated the bowlers, he has 9,577 ODI runs at an average of 53.50.
He had illustrious IPL career with 5,162 runs at strike rate of 151 with 40 half-centuries and 3 centuries next to his name.
Mr. 360 has been linked to numerous endorsement deals throughout his playing career and beyond.
In November 2021, de Villiers announced retirement from all forms of the game after 17 years of sheer brilliance.
