The German automaker, BMW Group has released the 2022 fiscal year sales figures for its Indian division.
German automotive group BMW reported record sales of its luxury cars and motorcycles in India at 19,263 units in 2022.
It is revealed that a total of 11,981 cars, combining both BMW and MINI and 7,282 motorcycles were sold last year in India.
The German company has witnessed a hike of 37% in the car sales as compared to the same period last year.
With 713 units, MINI continued to dominate the compact premium segment with 11 percent growth.
BMW's SUV range, the X1, X3, X5, and X7 along with the Sedan range like the 3,5, and 6 series witnessed high demand.
BMW’s India division logged 40% volume growth by selling 7,282 motorbikes last year.
