How Did Ktm Bikes Become So Popular In India?

The story of KTM begins in 1934, long before idea of high-performance racing bikes and supercars were even conceptualized.

In 2012, Austrian motorcycle giant KTM has overtaken BMW Motorrad to become Europe's numero-uno motorcycle manufacturer.

About 98.2% of KTM shares are owned by Pierer Mobility, which also holds a 73.32% stake in Pierer Industrie AG.

KTM entered India back in 2012. Within a short time, KTM became one of the fastest-growing bike manufacturers.

The KTM motorcycles had a better performance to price up the ratio than all of the similarly priced rivals in the Market.

In 2022, over 50,000 KTM bikes were sold in India, which is far more than its competitors in the performance bike segment.
