Kajol Devgan known mononymously as Kajol was born on August 5, 1974, in Mumbai, India.

Her mother Tanuja, is a renowned actress, and her father, Shomu Mukherjee, was a film director and producer.

Kajol made her acting debut at the age of sixteen with the film Bekhudi (1992), while still in school.

She rose to fame with her performance in the film "Baazigar" in 1993, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan.

Kajol has won numerous awards for her performances, including six Filmfare Awards during her short career.

Kajol is known for her versatile acting skills and has played a wide range of roles in her career.

Kajol is married to actor Ajay Devgn, and they have two children, a daughter named Nysa and a son named Yug.
