In 2017, Sophia was given Saudi Arabian citizenship, she became the first robot to receive citizenship of any country.
Sophia has 9 robot humanoid siblings, which were also created by Hanson Robotics, intended for use in science and education.
Sophia become a global name having made appearances in worldwide conferences as well as daytime TV shows in many countries.
Sophia social robot looks, thinks, talks, can mimic social behavior like humans and even induce feelings of love in humans.
It imitates human gestures and facial expressions, it can answer certain questions and also make simple conversation.
