The Rarest Eye Colors And How They Occur

Grey color eye is due to very little melanin with a high amount of collagen in the stroma.

Violet color eye is due to a lack of melanin mixed with light reflecting off of red blood vessels.

Little to no melanin due to albinism can lead to Red or Pink color eye.

Heterochromia is due to increased or decreased pigmentation in one iris or part of an iris.

Amber is because of little melanin with a large amount of lipochrome.

Hazel is due to melanin concentrated in the outer portion of the iris causing a multicolored appearance

Green is due to a little melanin, a large amount of lipochrome, and Rayleigh scattering of light.
