Malayalam actor Mamta Mohandas of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ fame has opened up about her vitiligo diagnosis.
Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes the skin to lose its color. The discolored areas usually get bigger.
Mohandas is a cancer survivor, and has battled Hodgkin lymphoma since 2010.
In 2013, the actor had a relapse of the cancer and underwent treatment in Los Angeles.
. She is the second actress after Samantha Ruth Prabhu to have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
After long treatments and surgeries, she came back to the Industry with so many Golden Hits.
The Meow actress recently posted that life was throwing curveballs at her but she was going to come out as a winner.
